I *hearts* cousins.
Ended my 2 months internship. Got a priority contract offer from them. Sign or No Sign? =D
Yearly increment: $2.8 --> $3.4 --> $4.4 ---> and so on.
But... NOOOOOO! Lols!

Omg I have to say this! They really surprised me on Thursday when I met them for dinner!! I didnt expect such big gifts from them. And I thought it's really sweet.. :) Ma chiam 一群小妹妹.. hahaha..

It's 23 05 now so i'm gonna blog all the way into the first day of CNY!
So before I actually start on all my thoughts and things that happened recently, I wanna wish all of you a Happy Chinese New Year :)
Was on the taxi on my way home last thursday at around 11.15pm when my mum suddenly called and told me that my sis and dad got into a car accident on their way home from ntu. The whole vehicle turned and basically what's left of it now is just scrap metals..
It was terrible, and I was so scared. Decided to skip over what happened in between. Main point is, they're perfectly fine. Without even a minor injury.
Cant help but to think it's blessings and karma. Today Sunday morning went to bai bai my ancestors at bishan area. That's what we do every CNY Eve every year. And haha, embarrassed to say, but I always ask my ah gong ah ma for extra blessings. For example, during NS I would ask them to bless me to get past the 2 years peacefully. Haha. And now I prayed that I would spend my 6 months at Europe peacefully :)
Mum's birthday on a Tuesday. Surprised her with a Bonia bag (she likes it) and a normal cake. Sis came back all the way from hostel and jumped out from a corner at 12am sharp to wish her happy birthday. Haha. Video-ed down the whole process and she's super touched.
Her wish after the birthday song was especially long for this year. And I know why.
Oh and I went to malayan cafe @ tamp mall for dinner with friend last last week I think. HAHA!
I think the design of the cafe is quite special.
2 friends came back from their 6 months exchange at canada and another came back from her one at copahagen denmark. They were so desperate for local food and we went on food hunt that day. Met out again and went to Katong laksa on this other night.
Walked around I12 Katong Mall. And yeah it's alright Then went to ice cream chef and the 6 of us shared a pint of ice cream. Gotta admit their ice cream is quite nice. It's at siglap area. And well, I was in hall tee because I went in the morning for hall game. And went for 3 hours of lan with my other group of friends before meeting them. It was so shagged but enjoyable.
Oh and can anyone guess what this is?? IT LOOKS LIKE A GIANT EGG TART DOESNT IT??? HAHAHAHHAAHA!!! It's actually a cheesecake!!! Not very appealing but you have to respect the baker. IT TASTES SO NICE!!!! HAHAHAAH!
And I just love spending time with groups of friends, at least before I take my flight in exactly 7 days from now.
Identify the drinks, can you? Haha. Well there's "the ulimate", which is like my fav drink in coffee bean.
Saturday (yesterday) was another epic day.
Went out with 1 of my most loved group of friends. Haha. Initially wanted to go to "Taste Paradise" @ Ion Orchard for DIM SUM! But then, the reasturant didnt serve dim sum becoz of new year period! Haiyo!! Was so looking forward to it u know?
So we decided to go to paul's for french breakfast. Well I wasnt really keen on it becoz just imagine i'll be having such breakfast for like 6 months soon. Haha! But friends first so yups. However, we queued for like 30mins and a table for 6 is too big for them. So people of about 4 or 2 kept walking past us while we stood there and waited foolishly.
Anyway the person estimated a 15mins of waiting time, which extended to 30+ mins. And we got so frustrated and hungry. So we decided to try out something that we cant eat in Europe as well, that is... XIAO LONG BAO. haha!
Stupid Paul, we're just too grand for you to serve us.
And just look at the food! Starting to miss them before I even set off! Hahaha.
Walked to Mandarin Gallery to take polaroid. There's this ulu corner with this sign. And I thought it's pretty funny, especially for the last one on the right. Haha!!! We did see couples there!
And we got this guy to take for us. 6 shots! I dunno why but it seems like the lamp is inside every shot. HAHA!
Love them. Just love! Haha. 十年的友情..有爱情吗？ Hahahahahaha!
Oh and we were so lucky! Got this lucky draw if you use citibank card and guess what? We got this $20 crystal jade voucher and you can spend it at any crystal jade outlet! The person said we're so lucky becoz normally people only got $5 and at most $10.
The owner of the citibank card kept the $20 voucher.
Went to Changi Airport. Met up with this bunch of fav uni friends! Know them since year 1 sem 1 at OB class and woosh. They're really sweet and funny people. Hahaha! The deepest impression they left me in terms of name-calling:
1) Big Bird/ Big Cow
2) Bo Bo
3) Flabby
4) Debit Card Applicant (HAHAHAHAHHAHA =XXXX.. I know you'll see this. LOL! I'm still laughing at the thought of this u know?)
5) Stir-Shit.
Well, stupid bobo never come coz he forgot about the meeting and he went on to plan a very memorable outing with his gf's family. Tsktsk. But he's honest and told me sincerely about it. So yups, forgiven. Haha!
Funny isnt it. We were so busy taking pictures of so many food on the table. But we left out the main star of the night, 盆菜！ Haha. This is abalone and bao bei~

And every year's reunion dinner is as nice as this year's.. Just love it! Haha that's me and my sis. She's soo cute :))

REUNION DINNER TONIGHT WAS AT AUNTIE'S HOUSE.
大上海.. My cousin graduated from uni 2-3 years back and we went there for his grad dinner. The one dish that made that place special was its shark fins soup. It's really really special, especially with a few drop of XO Wine. But well, decided not to have shark fins soup now so....

It's been some time since I last updated! Kinda busy with work and outings so I'll just brief through what happened lately?
Went swimming with my friend. Then had a wonderful lunch together!
Then travelled down to clarke quay to meet friends..
1 night before this outing with one of my group of friends, my friend randomly msged us. Let's meet at clarke quay mrt tmr, we're going to do something interesting.
LOL! Actually I kinda expected. So yups. This is his interesting thing.
There are 2. One is the one which shoots you up to 10 storeys high. And the other is less scary. It pulls you to a level 10 storeys high at an inclined level, and then LET GO!!!! Hahaha! Both are very exciting. And also very EX. It's like $49 for 1 ride. Minimum needs 2 people! So yups, you cant do it ALONE!!!
And we walked from clarke quay to raffles place =.="" Went past a few places.
Saw the Singapore river.
We were looking for some place for lunch or high tea. My friend suddenly led us and walked into a random atas hotel, asked for the restaurant in the hotel.
And we got led into a table for 4. My friend never checked the price and then just went in!! Gosh.
I opened the menu. Saw few words and if you want me to express, in gaming terms, it would be "GG". LOL!

And yes, I decided to try one of my fav tea, EARL GREY. The pic taken above. It's not grey.. Lol. But yea, it's nice!
And YES! The teatime snacks ROCKKKKK!!!! They're really really very nice!!!!
So I would say, to spend a good 3 hours sitting there, enjoying refillable cup of tea and refillable snacks and looking at the beautiful scenaries. To take some time off your busy schedule to just reflect, to just review about your actions and words and thoughts. It's definitely worth it.
After high tea buffet, went down to east coast park to meet friends for cycling!!! It's not really night cycling coz it's not past midnight.. haha
